DESTINY' STORY
Destiny is a sweet girl whose start in life has been rough. We found her at the shelter (November 2017) where she had been for weeks after getting hit by a car. Thankfully there were no broken bones or internal injuries but she had major asphalt burns on her head, neck, sides and ears. After a few weeks of TLC (cleaning wounds and applying cream 2 times a day) she finally started healing and her beautiful hair growing back. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She is learning how to play and has finally discovered the fun of a tennis ball.
She is pretty mellow for a pup less then 2 years old but is gradually learning what life is about.
Once her wounds were healed we discovered Destiny was very anxious and hates to be alone. We have just finished an 8 week course of professional training with her and feel she is ready to go to her FurEver home. She will need several lessons with her new owner and the training facility upon adoption so you will know what works for her. They also recommend she go to Doggie Daycare a few days a week. She will need to have a human around 24/7 for now. She is great riding in the car and went to work with her foster mom. She does well out and about on walks. She will be a great dog with time and lots of love and patience.
If you are interested and willing to help this sweet girl become the pawsome dog she can learn to be please fill out an online application at www.fureverpawzrescue.org. Her adoption fee is $350.00
