Lizzie is an 11-months old, 65 pound Black Labrador Retriever mix who would love nothing more than to find her loving forever home.
We rescue Lizzie as an owner surrender. Her family was no longer able to care for her and would have to take her to an overcrowded shelter in Houston, TX.

Lizzie is very playful. She gets along with all other dogs, has been exposed to cats, chickens, and pigs. She is curious but doesn't seem to be bothered by them. She has been around kids and appears to be very kid-friendly.
Lizzie LOVES the water, splashing in it, swimming in the lake or pool, anything with water would make her happy. She may be an awesome companion to go fishing, or just boating.
Lizzie is crate- and house-trained. She loves to cuddle up with you on the couch and if you let her, share the bed with you. A true cuddle bug.
Lizzie loves playing with her toys, going for walks, and discovering new things. She rides well in the car, always eager to come along for another adventure. She is a true companion to anyone or a loving dog to a family. Toss her some toys to fetch and she will be eager to fetch them.
She would love being part of her human's everyday life going for walks, runs, hiking, anything outdoors.
