Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kat is a stunning 1 year old (Nov 2018) Catahoula and is super affectionate. She loves to give hugs and honestly has very few manners but we are working on that as her previous owners never took the time to work with her before dumping her. She is house trained, uses the doggy door and hates to be locked up in a run or in a crate. She is fed in her crate so she is learning but she is not ready for extended periods in it. Kat is pretty spectacular in the way she can scale 6 and 7 foot wire fences! Absolutely amazing! What I've discovered is she is climbing to get back to us in the house. Even if we are at work, she will escape just to be inside - she does not try to climb the outer fence to follow us to work. She loves to play with the other dogs. She has not been destructive inside at all. She aims to please and would do great in obedience classes and with an active family. She really is a great dog

Please note that we are a TX based rescue, so all of our dogs are located in TX. We work with Your Texas Connection to transport our dogs to your area upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the WA area is $330 ($170 adoption and $160 transportation). All dogs will arrive spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and with their health certificate required for transportation.
Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms - and please note that there is a $25 application fee, which will be credited toward adoption fees.
