Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IVAN and LYLA have become a really cute couple. Both rescued from the streets, they are unrelated, but after moving into the same room, they have become best friends. We would like them to go to a home together.
IVAN is a handsome gray classic tabby tux fellow, with stripes and swirls, about nine months old. He came with his brothers (since adopted). Ivan took a little longer to start trusting humans, and he is still a little skittish with strangers. However he can be picked up and cuddled now, and seems to enjoy the attention. Ivan is sort of a “mama’s boy” and hangs out with all the females in the room. This is how he met Lyla.
LYLA is a pretty little black and white kitty about 1 ½ years old, with a cute little white mustache. She arrived pregnant, still a kitten herself, and produced three adorable kittens, all adopted. Her maternal instinct remained strong and she seems to have “adopted” Ivan. They play together, cuddle together, eat together and she even grooms him. Lyla’s new mothering duties have helped to smooth off the rough edges of her “attitude”. She swipes less, and this seems mostly for show. She can be picked up and handled and comes to the sound of food cans being opened.
IVAN and LYLA would probably prefer a quiet adult home with a few safe hidey-holes for a while. Other cats would probably be tolerated. Come and meet this adorable pair.
