Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pixi is a sweet and sensitive little girl. She is about 12 pounds and is 2-3 years old.
This inquisitive cutie absolutely loves to watch for squirrels from the window and really enjoys playing fetch. But she also knows how to relax and couch surf with her foster family on a warm lap. The thing she loves most is being held and will do cute hops to get into your arm just so she can be cuddled like a baby on her back.
Pixi is house trained, does well with children, other dogs or she can also be the only one. She is untested with cats but we think with her sweet temperament she might be ok with them. But like any good terrier, she will alert you to new people in the house. Initially shy, it only takes her a few minutes to settle once she knows all is well. If she’s not comfortable, she finds comfort in her crate.
This sweet gal walks well on a leash and has learned to sit for treats. She would do well with more basic command training but she is a smarty and should pick up the basics quickly. She also has no problems sleeping through the night. She’s looking for that family or individual who wants to love her forever so she can return that love.
Pixi wouldn’t do well left alone for a full work day and would like to have a canine companion if her parents are gone that long. She would do fine with no other dog as long as someone was around during the day.
Pixi is being fostered in San Jose. CA. Her adoption fee is $275.00.
All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
