My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

hi, I'm Lil' Bit, or Lil as my foster mom calls me. I am a mature, 4-5 yr old, female chihuahua dachshund (cheweenie) mix. :) I was recently found in a junk yard and brought home by a nice family but their dog didn't like me too much. Its hard to believe, because I am so easy going and loving, and calm... I don't know what went wrong. So I find myself here.
I am a wonderful girl. I just want to love someone. I like to give kisses and just be close to you, but I do take a little time to warm up and get comfortable (just a day or two). Some of the silliest things can spook me at times, but i get over it quickly.
I am spayed and housebroken, and I'm also slightly more dog than I should be (that's a polite way of saying fat!) I need to lose a little weight to get into my best health, but a low cal food would be an easy way to do that. I do get active and run around at times, but I'm such a calm girl as a whole.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE kids! I'm being fostered with a 6 yr old girl that is my favorite! I don't need any other dogs in my life... just give me KIDS!
