Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hope - this little lady has a lot of love to give!
Hope is a very sweet young girl who just loves to be loved. She is always looking to snuggle on your lap and loves to jump up to say hello whenever she sees you. If you let her, she'll lay across your lap and get ready for a great snooze along with her favourite head scratches. Watch out - she's a snorer!
Hope is crate trained and takes herself off for a nap in her crate in the evenings. She also enjoys chewing on a bone or playing with a stuffie on her bed by your feet. She absolutely loves all food and is not a stranger to counter surfing, so you'll have to keep an eye on this cheeky madam! Hope is very responsive and has learnt 'sit' and 'in your crate' very quickly - she is always eager to please if you have a treat or two.
Hope is looking for a home that can give her some structure and guidance. She is still young and in a new environment so she gets super excited or really nervous about just about everything. She would really benefit from some group training classes to increase her socialization and manners, but it would also be a great bonding experience for you too!
Hope is a fairly high energy dog and does enjoy a zoomie or three, so a fenced in yard would be great but not essential as long as she gets enough exercise each day. She is not a barker inside so she would be suitable for most types of housing.
Hope currently shares her foster home with a foster brother but would be happy in a home with or without another doggie friend. A home without cats or other small animals is required as Hope does have prey drive. Hope does still need to learn to be calm in the home, and for this reason, we are recommending a home without really young children at this time.
Hope has a wonderfully funny little personality and will make a great family member for one very lucky family.
Could this little lady be the one for you?
Hope came to us with one eye damaged but she doesn't let this stop her! She will be seeing the vet in the next couple of weeks to have it assessed and potentially removed.
