My story

JOSIE (TENNESSEE)
Josie is a 6–year-old, 6.5 pound Yorkie girl being fostered in Murfreesboro, TN.
Josie is doing well in her foster home. Since arriving in Murfreesboro she has been spayed, groomed and had her teeth brushed. She is still very shy but spending more time exploring her foster home. Josie’s foster family is working on house training and it is going well. She does use a pee pad sometimes and we are thinking that maybe this was part of her past life. She weighed 6.5 lbs at her last appointment but she is eating well and seems to be putting on some weight. She likes to play with her foster brother, so we think she would enjoy sharing a home with another playful small dog. She will need a family with lots of patience and love. Because of her shyness a family with older children would be best. Josie sleeps with her foster mom and dad at the foot of their bed in her own little bed. Josie loves her little doggie bed. Josie likes turkey for treats and an occasional hot dog. She has not learned to sit but has learned to walk on leash.
