Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone meet sweet little Dixie! This girl has had a very hard life we rescued Dixie from the Las Vegas animal shelter 2 years ago she was a part of a hoarding case where she spent most her life in a cage, she then came to us and we thought we found her the perfect home the family that adopted her seemed amazing! Well fast forward to a month ago when we received a phone call from the shelter saying they have one of our dogs that came in as a stray the family lives in Thousand Oaks so we assumed with all the wildfires she got out and her family was missing her like crazy. We finally got in contact with her owners to have them tell us they don't want her she is "severely aggressive" we asked why weren't we contacted and they came up with every excuse that they could, they also said they hired a trainer and when we asked for records they could not provide them. Dixie has now been with us for over a month and she has no aggression at all she is terrified of everything she would do best in a single home where its all about her. She loves to cuddle, great off leash and does not leave your side once she builds trust. She does take time to warm up to people but does not attack in any way. She is fine with other dogs she's currently fostering with two Pit Bulls, and English Mastiff and has no problems she doesn't bother them and they don't bother her. Dixie need an owner that can give her all the love and attention that she deserves and that understands she does need some time to warm up to her new surroundings. Dixie is 100% crate trained, she is great indoors and is house trained. If you are looking for a lap dog that loves to go everywhere with you look no further we have been working with her and she's been getting better being in public places before she would just shake and walk against your legs but now she loves going on her walks, going on car rides, and most of all just hanging at home. If you are looking for an easy going, loving pup Dixie is the little girl for you! Please tell us about your family, home, and lifestyle. Dixie will only be adopted into a home with a couple, older home, or a single home so she can be spoiled and loved.
