My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $100
Fostered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Age: 11 years
Weight: 7 lbs.

12/14/18 - Buster... Chiefly Midland’s definition of Buster is “someone or something extraordinary”. EXACTLY!! Since I’ve entered Yorkie Haven, I’ve been told by multiple people that they don’t know how someone could give up such an awesome baby. Seems I have a demeanor everyone loves.

I was surrendered by my family when they felt that they were too busy and didn’t feel that I was getting the attention I needed. Well, I am now!! I’m temporarily living in something called a foster home with a stay at home dog mom and I have other fur-siblings as companions. I don’t really play with any of them, but co-exist great. I was previously an only dog, but would be ok in a home with another calm dog. I absolutely adore attention from humans and am an awesome guy. Don’t let my age fool you, I act WAY younger than I am.

I love to just sit with my people and am one of those yorkies that is ALL ABOUT YOU. I like to be held and give the best kisses and am even content just sitting next to you. I’ve been told that I am comforting to have around. I haven’t wanted to sleep in the human bed yet. Foster mom is trying to figure out if it was because I was never allowed in the human bed, or if this particular human bed just has too many other fur-children in it. Whatever the reason, I sleep perfect in my comfortable dog bed in the bedroom. I’m a great eater and just love my treats.

I will play with toys some, but aren’t one of those dogs that is squeaking a toy non-stop. I do well with my potty habits, but when foster mom runs errands, she will be a belly band on me. But when she is home, I get to run around naked. Lol

I can jump up and down to sit in the chair or on the sofa with you, but would need steps if I decide to sleep in bed with my new mom and/or dad. I don’t have a problem barking when the other dogs do or if the doorbell rings or just if I want your attention. But I don’t talk all the time.

To sum me up: I’m sweet, affectionate, loyal, have a great sense of humor and am a good listener. I’m looking for a serious relationship with an individual or two with the same traits.

As William Edward Hickson once said, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Well, I didn’t succeed with my first family, so, I’m trying again.

12/6/18 - BIO COMING SOON!
