we have had Grendel for 6-7 and he is about that old. We lived in an apt for a year and he was house trained then but he has since then been outside in a fenced in yard and heated dog house. We have a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. He leaves them alone for the most part, I am just not comfortable with them out playing with him, so I put him on the leash when they are outside. He would love to play with them he is just so strong I’m scared he will accidentally hurt them. He get next to no attention from us. So when he does get it he is extra hyper and jumpy. He chews on anything left in the yard and digs. I assume that is because he is bored and could be fixed with attention. We have an older shih tzu that he leaves alone. We have found he will whine when away from our house.
He will need someone that can take the time to work with him and let him adjust to a new home. He really needs somewhere where he can run and some one who is not intimidated by him jumping on them until that
