My story

Sweet pit/lab/greyhound mix looking for a home.

Winnie is a healthy 55-pound female pit/lab/greyhound mix that loves to exercise, and also loves to lounge around the house. She was rescued from the Dominican Republic, and grew up with her littermate around cats and children.

Winnie loves to walk, run, play frisbee, ball, and swim. While she loves to exercise, she is also a lap dog who enjoys lounging.

Winnie likes cats, but is nervous around dogs and children she does not know. As a result, she would ideally be in a home without other dogs and without small children.

Winnie is micro chipped, up to date on shots, spayed and healthy. Her medications cost around $20/month.

Winnie is a grazer with food, meaning she doesn't require portion or time controlled eating. She does not overeat or become food aggressive. She is comfortable in a crate and equally comfortable on her dog bed around the house.
