Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet JJ! Poor JJ was picked up by animal control as a stray and quickly found himself on the euthanasia list at the city kill shelter because he was scared. Who wouldn't be scared in a loud, cold shelter with hundreds of other dogs barking day and night?!? We couldn't leave him there and knew he would be a wonderful dog for someone once he was out and into a comfy foster home. Sure enough, since he has been in his foster home, he has learned that people can be trusted and that it is safe to play with people and play with his doggie pals. He has done well with house training and is treat motivated so he has also learned basic commands. He attempts to engage cats in play but some cats may not take kindly to this. JJ would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 and a home who has experience with the playfulness and energy of a terrier. If you love the energy of a terrier, JJ is your guy! JJ is believed to be a Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer mix who is approximately 2.5 years old. He weighs just under 12 pounds. He is a sweet boy who deserves a second chance at a great home.
