My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are happy to introduce Hope to everyone, she is currently with St. Thomas City Animal Services.

Hope came into our shelter as a surrender, due to her uncertainty around small children. We have spent some time now with Hope and her main hurtle is her trust issues with new people. Hope is nervous around strangers and does not like new people in her face even though it’s hard to resist cuddling with such a pretty face. Hope needs a few days to get to know you before she trusts enough to be smothered in love and kisses. She has been a pleasure to be around and has been very affectionate with our staff now that she knows us!

Hope has gorgeous black longer hair that is very soft but may require a bit of brushing. She enjoys a spot to rest where she feels safe a secure. She will snuggle up in her pillow and snooze after helping us with our morning chores here at the shelter. She does not have much experience walking on a leash and was shy of traffic and strangers on her first walk, however she is getting much better and just needs some reassurance. This girl is a kind and gentle lady, and when she gets to know you is a big snuggle bug. She is an easy keeper with very few demands and is a treat to be around!

If you have any questions about Hope please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help you.
