My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peek-a-boo, Pookie! This little nugget is about 4 months old and fresh off the NYC streets! He is the black kitty on the left in this photo. To be honest, we are so overloaded with rescue cats right now, we were going to return Pookie to the colony area where he was living. But he immediately started eating in front of us and engaging us. It was as if he said, hey, I want to be an indoor kitty! Pookie is still a little nervous, but he is used to being around the people who fed him outside, so we are confident that in the right loving and patient home he will blossom! You will have a loving and loyal friend for life. Pookie and Sebastian (also posted here) are the same age and from the same colony so we think they are litter mates. We would love for them to be adopted together. Sebastian has more human "experience" so he can also help his brother settle in. Please come meet this adorable pair in their foster home in Harlem soon!
