Poor Marge is a gorgeous German Shepard from South Carolina. We pulled her from the shelter on her kill date. If our rescue did not take her, she would have been euthanized within a few hours!
Additionally, Marge is a heartworm survivor! She has been treated, and seems to be in great shape medically.
This girl has been through the ringer for sure!
She is very sweet with people, and will even rub against you like a cat! At this point, we don't know Marge well enough to say if we feel that she is good with children or other dogs.
Due to her size, breed, age, and unknown history, Marge will only be adopted to experienced dog handlers.

All of our dogs are located in Connecticut, and are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, have had CT State health checks, and go home with a leash and collar.
We are a smaller rescue focused on finding the right match for our dogs and for you. We offer private appointments where you can spend as much time as you'd like with your dog of choice, meet several dogs, and take a dog or dogs for a walk. You will not be waiting in line with others or fighting a crowd. We believe we offer a unique and pleasant experience focused on finding the perfect match. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you find your new best friend.

***Please understand, that many of the dogs we rescue are mixes of multiple breeds. Therefore, it is very hard to know the exact breeds that make up each dog. We do our best in trying to be somewhat accurate, when choosing breeds, but is nearly impossible to know.
When adopting a puppy, this plays a big part of the uncertainty of the size the puppy will end up being. *Just know, when raised with boundaries, consistency, effort, excercise, and love, your puppy will grow to be a HUGE source of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, TOTAL LOYALTY, HAPPINESS, COMFORT AND COMPANIONSHIP....... REGARDLESS OF SIZE, no matter what!
