Anyone looking for a big handsome heeler? Yes?? Then Baker is your boy. Baker is 4 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He spent his entire life traveling with his truck driver owner who passed away suddenly and sadly, there was no family to take Baker in and care for him. Baker is sad and confused and is needing to find his forever home as soon as possible as he is not doing well in a multi-dog environment. Baker wants nothing more than to be with his person/people and is cont ent to just hang out with them. Baker does well with the other dogs, but he is not really interested in hanging or playing with them – he just prefers to hang out with people.

Baker is super smart and treat motivated so he will definitely be up to learning new and better tricks!! He already knows sit, down, shake (with both paws), and stay. Being true to his breed, Baker needs a home that is familiar and experienced with the Australian Cattle Dog and he would not do well in a home with small children, small dogs or cats.

Baker is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.
