Lady is a 12-18 month old black lab mix who only weighs about 42 pounds. She was found with Tinkie on the side of the road near Thorndale, and she gave birth to
8 puppies 2 days later (she is the mother of the lab mix puppies). The people who found her gave her a side yard to raise her puppies, and all of Lady's litter survived, proving she is an excellent mother. She also is good with other dogs, cats, and kittens since she raised her puppies with the kittens born to a cat who wandered into her yard. Her rescuers also have children in the house, so she has been around older kids.
Lady is a very laid back dog and doesn't want to play very much. She just wants to be near other animals and people, so she would probably be a good match for an older dog or young children. She is a little shy at first but warms up and wants affection.
Because Lady has been living outside we do not know if she is housebroken, but she will whine when she wants to potty at PetsMart events.
