My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Athena and I am just two years old. I am very sweet and affectionate and love having my soft, black fur petted. I am just a tiny bit shy at first until I get to know you, but once I’m comfortable with you, I know you’re going to love me. I’m adjusting well in the busy store and like to hang out at the top of the cat tree to watch all the action. When it gets crowded and noisy, I sometimes try to hide out in my litter box, but just until it’s quiet again. I get along just fine with the other cats here. I haven’t been in a home with a dog but I think I’d be ok with a calm laid back dog. I’m not a picky eater and enjoy both dry and wet food. I also love my cat treats and catnip. I’m a pretty laid back girl and would be happy just lounging around with you. I think I would do best in a quieter home with older respectful children that won’t overwhelm me with too much action.
I was rescued from outside with my kittens who have all found their forever home so it’s now my turn to find my new forever home.
I’ve been so busy trying to survive and care for my kittens I really haven’t had much of a chance to play and have fun. I think I would like to play with toys in my new home once I settle in, as they look like so much fun. I’m pretty sure I would like a bird watching window too!
