Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doug is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Doug was abandoned with Dharma and her 2 week old puppies when people moved out a rental home. Doug is the dad to the puppies, but we are happy to say that he will not be fathering any more puppies. Doug is a young Golden Retriever/yellow lab mix (we think). We are guessing that he is young, probably around a year of age and weighing 70 pounds. Doug loves to play fetch and especially likes a jolly ball. Doug is a typical goofy, sweet, gentle and loving Golden Retriever. He loves to be petted and gives kisses. He is still scared of new places and unfamiliar things, so his new family will have to work with him on that. Treats will help. Doug is crate trained and completely house trained. He is fairly good in the house but he is still young, and gets into stuff when he is bored (typical for a Retriever). Doug needs more obedience training and socialization. Doug must be allowed in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and it would be best if he had a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Doug is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heart worms and current on heart worm and flea preventative. Doug has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY.
