Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Togo is a very unique guy. He always first comes across as being aloof and disinterested in people or anything they have to offer but once he knows you are there for him, whether as an owner, volunteer or hired dog walker, he is all about giving you his full attention. Togo loves to go on walks and just hang out around his person. He is not so keen on other dogs, he would probably do ok with another dog after time and with proper introductions but his preference is to be an only dog. He is fine seeing other dogs in public but would rather have his owner all to himself. Togo can be stubborn but will come around to training with time and treats. Once he is comfortable which takes about a week, he is all about snuggles. This guy just needs someone who understands that with some patience and time he can be amazing.
As with most Huskies Togo seems to want to chase cats but he did get used to our resident cat at the shelter and no long bothers him. He actually seems to be scared of the cat a little bit but it did take about a month before they established this relationship.
This dog currently resides in Bandera, Tx. , We transport dogs to Washington State usually 2-3 times a month. Please understand that there is additional vetting, health certificates and costs involved with transporting a dog from Texas to Washington and our adoption fee is $400.00 which covers everything from the spay/neuter to the actual transport cost.
*All of our dogs have tested heartworm negative or have been heartworm treated if positive and are on a monthly heart worm prevention protocol
