My story

If you adopt our Ellie, an 11lb, female chihuahua mix, prepare to receive a ton of kisses and a girl who loves to be on your lap or just bouncing around. She was rescued (just in time) from a high kill shelter and had 2 puppies just 2 days after leaving that shelter. Ellie’s owner was evicted from her home along with 2 other dogs and was living in a car until the owner had no choice but to turn the 3 dogs into the shelter. The owner states she got Ellie as a puppy and she is about 6 years old with a long life ahead of her. She has short haired that is beautiful red color. So far, as long as she is taken outside periodically, she is house trained. She can use a puppy pad as well. She stays in a crate at night and does very well. Ellie would make a wonderful companion dog for someone home a lot or shut in. She is fine with children too and larger dogs too! Sweet Ellie truly needs a permanent, loving home after all she has been through. $350 includes alteration, all her vaccinations to date, health certificate, and transport fee of $150.00 from Alabama.
