My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the lovely Venita. She's just over 4 yrs. old, spayed, UTD on shots, crate-trained, and probably about 65-68 lbs. (she could stand to drop a few). V is looking for an adult-only or older kid home. She was adopted at 2 months and has lived with the same family for 4 yrs. They had a baby and V has become very protective of her space and other resources. She is a very affectionate, lovable dog that loves to hike and go on walks. She has never destroyed anything in the house, is housebroken and enjoys playing with the ball and snuggling with you.

V is EXTREMELY affectionate with people, and loves to be the center of attention. While she doesn't like every dog, she does like some, and plays GREAT with them. She's really a beauty and has some really wonderful qualities. She loves to chase the ball, and does great being left alone loose (meaning she doesn't need a crate and is not destructive).

She is currently staying in her current home until she is adopted. We have known this girl since she was a puppy, and we too, feel she would be better in a home without young kids.
