Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful Ringneck was found on July 4th injured and unable to fly. Sadly her elbow was shattered and could not be repaired. Since she cannot fly, the rehabilitation expert that was consulted said she was not a candidate for reintroduction into the wild once she recovered. She can flap her wings but is unable to stay airborne. We believe she's from the spring hatch this year and a large flight cage is recommended for her to safely live out the rest of her days in. We have been working on her socialization, and she has become quite vocal and will take food from my 11 year olds hands, and I'm sure she will adjust to a new family given time to decompress and settle. Once given time and one on one care, handling should be possible. Her adoption fee is $100, cage not included.
