Are you looking for a small hypoallergenic canine companion that will brighten your day? Meet Baxter, a recent arrival at the Coronado Animal Care Facility who came in as a stray. He is now ready for his forever home. Baxter is a nine-year-young male Australian Silkie Terrier who weighs 10 pounds.

This adorable little guy is a friendly and affectionate canine that wants to be with his human pals. Baxter has plenty of energy and enjoys a good walk. He walks nicely on his leash, trotting right along. Baxter is friendly with other dogs and people that he encounters while out and about. Afterward it’s time for hugs and kisses while cuddling in your lap. Baxter is suitable for most households, but would enjoy one where his human likes to walk daily. Come meet this love bug today. Baxter, a youngster at heart, will be a great addition to your family and deserves a loving forever home!

The Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) is open 9:00-11:30am and 12:3-4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, first please come meet the dog at the Coronado ACF. Then submit a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF or the online dog adoption application. If you have questions, please email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
