Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet The Lovely Delilah!
Miss Delilah was rescued from the Lancaster Animal Shelter after being put on death row. She was dumped by her former family and a good samaritan did not want to see her euthanized so she took her in. Having too many dogs she sought help in bringing her numbers down so we took in Delilah!
She is absolutely precious! This girl is part Boston Terrier and we are guessing part Schnauzer. She has the Boston Terrier beautiful red chestnut coloring with the long legs and the Schnauzer hair and beard! She was scared of the big dogs in the private home she is in, but adjusted to them in 2 hours! She is very playful but she is also very, very loving and wants nothing more than to be by your side or snuggling next to you.
She is a young dog at only about 20 months old so she has energy but the maturity to settle down in the house and is housebroken. She weighs in at about 13 pounds.
Her adoption fee includes her spay, all current vaccinations, microchip, deworming, Nexguard treatment, collar and leash. An adoption fee does apply.
As we pre-screen via email only please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, activity level, work schedule, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children or pets in the household, where your pet stays when you are out or at work, and where your pet will sleep.
She adapts to new situations pretty quickly so she is open to a wide variety of home situations. She does also walk well on a leash.
Thank you for choosing to adopt!
