My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CARL #2 is a 5-year-old neutered male black lab. Carl weighs 50 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION Carl is a shy little guy who loves his people. He doesn't know how to play with other dogs, so they sometimes scare him. He does well with the mellow ones. This petite boy is looking for a calm family without too many people coming and going. He loves to play with squeaky toys and follow his humans around. Carl arrived at his foster home and after a short adjustment period, seems to be enjoying the new digs! Though initially unsure in the new environment, after a couple of days he is now napping on the dog beds and starting to relax. He does well in the crate, and is a pretty chill guy. Carl is learning about noises outside and foster mom is helping him understand that the airplanes overhead aren't anything to worry about. Though when he initially goes outside he'd prefer to just head back inside where he knows it's safe, once he gets going, he seems to settle in and even enjoyed a nice long walk on the waterfront. This sweet boy would probably enjoy country life and long quiet walks without the hubbub of the city. hose gorgeous eyes are calling out for someone to love this wonderful 3 year old pup. Carl loves to meet people and other dogs. He absolutely loves his squeakies and playing ball. He is well behaved inside (house broken!) and coming a long way with adjusting to all the noises in the big city. He would love to find a forever home in a suburban or rural area. He is finding his fun, and his playful side!
