My story

Silk was adopted as a 1 yr old- 8 yrs ago but due to a divorce in the family she was returned to our program. We understand people's lives change and sometimes it is in the dog's best interest to be returned to us. We are so grateful that her parents followed the terms of our contract and returned her. When we rescue a dog, we commit to them and their well being for their entire life. We consider it a privilege to provide them this security, especially in their golden years. Silk is a very energetic 9 yr old black female with cropped ears and a docked tail. Silk is a lovely house guest with impeccable manners. She could fit seamlessly into any household. She was a well loved family member and is looking for a soft landing in her golden years. Don't let her age fool you, Silk will play for hours. She would make a great big sister!
