My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Jackson gives thanks every day. He is thankful for a warm bed, his own blanket, and a full bowl of kibble every morning and night. He is happy that he feels better too – bladder stones gone, insulin for his diabetes now stabilized, and that he can run and play freely. He doesn’t care much for toys but he will happily squeeze in beside you every day, maybe stay right there all day if you let him. He sits nicely for his 2x daily injection and then is grateful for a little treat afterwards. Jackson’s middle name is Praise – he gives thanks every day for the blessings of health, help, and hope. Now, he’s ready to move to a forever home. Will you be the one to make Jackson thankful for your love?

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
