My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smooch is a sweet Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. Although we’re not exactly sure of her age, we believe she is less than 2-years old. Smooch came from a hoarding situation where she lived in a van with 14 other dogs! Consequently, she never had a chance to learn proper house manners and, while she uses potty-pads nicely, she needs a little more training in learning to do her business outside on her own. Albeit, if you take her outside, she will potty. She gets along well with other dogs (big or small), and has not been exposed to cats or children. Being an independent little gal, Smooch doesn’t mind spending some time alone, but she is a little cuddle bug whenever you’re available! Coming from a hoarding environment Smooch has not been exposed to toys but, given her young age, once she feels comfortable in her environment she will most likely learn to do all the things puppies enjoy doing! For all she’s been through Smooch is an amazing little dog, and given time to settle in to her forever home, she will be a wonderful little dog for your family.
