My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie is a beautiful, smart, energetic 2-year-old Golden Retriever that needs an active owner. This is an "Oxford-educated" lad, so to speak, as he has spent a lot of time with trainer OJ K9 in Los Angeles, and knows all his commands: Sit, Down, Come, Stay. Furthermore, his polished manners include being a pleasure to walk on leash and meeting other dogs well during his outings. His house manners are up to par, also, in that gorgeous Ollie is house-trained and crate-trained. Just like us, humans, Ollie is an individual with his own preferences, and he is definitely not a pushover. He likes being left alone while he eats and isn't much of a fan of sharing his toys. The perfect fit for this remarkable boy is a knowledgeable and patient owner, who can continue his obedience training and be the pack leader Ollie will respect. Sweet Ollie will need an adult-only home (no kids), where he can be an only-dog even though he is good with dogs..
Ollie belongs to Southern CA Golden Retriever Rescue, and we are helping to find him the right home - one that will understand and respect his individuality, and would continue guiding him toward being the awesome dog he inherently is.
