Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoebe has lived with the same man all her life - until he moved out of the country. Unfortunately, although he planned to take her when he moved, she was literally removed from the airplane as it sat on the runway waiting for takeoff. The country her owner moved to, Germany, does not allow Pit Bulls, and so suddenly, Phoebe lost her favorite person in the whole world and her home. It has been really tough for a sweet senior girl! Now, Phoebe is looking for a new family to call her own. Phoebe is incredibly friendly and loves to be around people. She is very talkative and will let you know when she wants something. She loves to snuggle with people (and other dogs!), and she is very playful. She enjoys fetching and playing with toys. She also loves going to love walks and is great on or off-leash. She is also very smart and knows many commands. She gets along with all sizes of dogs but she is not fond of aggressive dogs; she is a proud alpha female. She likes cats but is too big to play with them, so if she is adopted by a family with cats, they would need to be assertive and have plenty of places to jump to. Phoebe is completely house trained and has never had an accident. She does not need a crate, either; she does not chew or do anything destructive when left at home. She is a wonderful dog, and she would love to have a family of her own again. It has been very sad for Phoebe losing everything she knew in life, and she would love to meet a family that could give her a happy home again.
