My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This nice looking bob-tailed small dog walks well on a leash either alone or with another dog and is crate trained. Raisin is already neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and takes heartworm prevention. He knows several commands and tricks. Raisin's eyes light up when he's the center of attention and working to earn treats. Currently Raisin lives agreeably in a foster home with cats and other dogs. He snoozes quietly in the kitchen while the home schooled teens do their school work at the kitchen table. He always uses the bathroom outside as soon as he is taken out, so you don't have to stand in the cold or rain to coax him to go potty. So why is this cute little dog in foster care? Because his previous owner was too permissive. In foster care, he has clear boundaries where he can sit and can't sit (never on furniture). That restriction has quickly changed his attitude into a dog who respects authority. If you are the pack leader with Raisin, he may be the perfect pet for you. He adjusts to new people fairly well. We will provide adopters with educational materials on how to be the pack leader with little Raisin.Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application. Two week trial with refund is offered with any Petsaver NC pet.
