My story

Say hello to Runner! He's a mid-age, cute little fellow who's looking for a family to take him under their wing. Runner is a Dachshund mix and we're estimating him to be about 3-4 years old. He came to our shelter very frightened and we have been diligently working with him. He's beginning to come out of his shell and accept pets and treats from us, and has found he loves sitting in laps! If you're interested in coming to see him, please keep in mind that he still needs to adjust and still has more socialization progress to make. He will also need to have someone who will help him brush up on his pottie training skills. However, we can definitely tell that if you put the time in with this little fellow, he'll give you his heart. Most likely a quiet home without other dogs or small children would be the best fit for him.
