Meet Cody! He is an 1 year old 45lb Australian Cattle Dog. He was pulled from a shelter a few months back. Cody is an active, outgoing, lovable, sweet boy and can even be called a velcro dog. He loves to play ball and play with other dogs. He has had 30 days of training with Intermountain Mannered Mutts. He knows some basic obedience, is house trained, and crate trained. Cody can scale a 4 foot door so he will need a yard with at least a 6 foot fence, preferably not chainlink. He will need an active person that can give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation such as agility, dock diving, hiking/running partner. With proper training Cody would probably do well on a ranch as well. We are looking for a home with breed experience and that is very active. Cody has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, is on Bravecto and Tri-Heart plus.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
If you are interested in Cody, email us and we will send you an adoption application. (include your location in the email) The adoption fee for Cody is $450.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
