Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone meet 5 year old Tank! He is an Apple Head Chihuahua mix.
This is the bio given to us by his awesome foster mom:
“Tank is a very smart, sweet, and loving Chihuahua. He is food and toy motivated, and very receptive of clicker training. He is currently being trained to recognize his name, plus commands such as come, sit, wait, heel, and drop to release what is in his mouth when he is told to. He’s been doing very well with and loves the training sessions. Though he is a young dog who loves brisk walks, and to play with his toys, he loves cuddling with you while you watch TV or read a book. He utterly enjoys companion and would make an excellent addition to your family. He is a textbook Chihuahua which means he is a small dog with a small bladder. He should ideally be taken outside for potty every 4-6 hours. He for some reason has this love of carpet and can’t help going potty on it. Never once on a hardwood floor but he has had a handful of accidents on the carpet. This is easily dealt with by making the carpeted area inaccessible for him. He is great with children and cats. He has not shown aggression toward our children (6 years old and 2.5 years old) and a senior cat. He lets the children pet him and plays nicely with them. As small dogs tend to be, he can be vocal at times but he never barks excessively. He is very shy at first, but soon he will learn that you are his family and won’t leave your side! He is dog selective but came from a home with other dogs.”
Please email caredogvolunteers@gmail.com if you would like to apply to be Tank’s forever home!
