Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brandy is just the absolute sweetest girl ever! She loves people and can't contain the full body wiggles when she gets to meet someone new.
Brandy unfortunately came to us in a bit of rough shape. She has chronic dry eyes which we have been treating with simple eye medications and she is the best girl about letting us do them. We discovered pretty quickly that she also came with bladder stones that needed to be surgically removed. She has recovered well from surgery and is currently on a special diet to hopefully prevent any future issues. Her new family would have to be willing to continue with a specific diet for her and would have to understand that she may have other issues in the future. Finally on a routine blood test, she has not shown any symptoms at all, we discovered that she is positive for the Lyme Disease. She is currently on a course of antibiotics and once that is completed, while she will always show as positive on future tests, she may never have any issues because of it. If you have any questions about any of these issues please contact us and let us know so we can discuss everything with you.
Brandy is around 7 years old as of 11/26/18 and, thankfully, doesn't let her rough past change her opinion that life is amazing and she continues to be a happy, wonderful pup who can't wait to have a loving family of her own for many incredible years to come.
If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to set up an appointment. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.
Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen for me so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues that could hurt me. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.
The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Like us on Facebook!!
Disclaimer:
Visual breed identification in dogs in unreliable, for most of our dogs we are making the best guess at what the predominant breed or breed mix might be. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality and temperament, not breed label.
