Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello and good afternoon everyone I would like to introduce myself...my name is #NubsBPFF...and I would like to share my story with you...well...I had a family once..I thought I would always be their little boy...well things changed...and I guess for reasons I don’t know...they decided to rehome me...as you can see...I am very very skinny....sadly...I wasn‘t getting enough to eat....someone found out what they were planning and they saw how I looked....why would anyone starve their puppy...why have a pup and not care about them...a few days went by....and....Animal Care and Control was notified......and after seeing me...and talking with my family...it was decided that I would be surrendered to them...I could not believe this was happening....what did I do to deserve this? Why? Would anyone want a little skinny fella....I worried... But they told me at ACC that they will help me find a loving home...one where I will be properly taken care of..and I felt alot better..cause the family I had sure didn’t...but still...they were the only family I knew...and it hurt my heart....they said I needed to see the doctor...and they told me I needed to be fixed...why? I know I’m a good boy...am I broken too? But I found it...it’s not me...everyone needed to be fixed before they could be adopted...so I didn’t worry...they told me they were going to send out a rescue request...and I guess you know who answered that call...yup aunt Liz from Barky Pines...she saw my picture...saw how skinny I am...and she knew in her heart...she would help...and the other day...her sister aunt Mary came to ACC to pick me and my friend up...she had a warm smile...she knew my story...and felt so bad to see me look this way...we got in her car and drove out to her family’s farm...they have an animal rescue...where other pups like me and my friend stay until they get adopted...when we arrived...so many new friends came out to greet us.....then after a few minutes.....aunt Liz ..came out.......and my heart sang a happy song of thanks to her....she told me not to worry...that they would love me and care for me...and get some weight on me...and before you know it...someone would fall in love with me and want to make me their forever boy...after all I’ve been through...this was what I needed...a family who cares...uncle Steve came out a little while later and I was excited to meet him...all my new friends ran to see him...so I knew he has to have...a big heart too...they all care so much for each and every one of us...it’s amazing....I sit and watch as my friends run all around...soo very happy...so full of love..for these people...and I thank God...that aunt Liz said yes...I was shy the first day or so...but now...I‘m running around making lots of friends...my heart is full of gratitude...well I better get going now...lots to do today.......if you or anyone you know would like to meet me...please don’t hesitate to ask...until then...I will be here...in the safety and comfort of Barky Pines....thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially...for sharing...your friend...Nubs...BPFF woof woof
