My story

I was rescued from a hoarding case and have been in a very loving foster home

What we have learned about Dobby:

Dobby is very affectionate and loving. He adores kids! Prefers them! He is playful and silly in short spurts and enjoys being outside when it’s warm and not wet. But really he just loves to cuddle. All day every day. He likes his crate but is very sad when left alone. He is afraid of the leash but doesn’t get more the a few feet away and will follow you no matter how far you walk. He will chase very big dogs! He likes cats and tolerates our family dog but is territorial to strange dogs.

He will cry to go outside and go potty when in a small space like a single room. Gates work well. There is an ongoing work in progress to potty train him but as many know - chihuahua's have a mind of their own.

The young man who is fostering has this to inform you about: Ori says to tell you - “requirement that the family can’t leave Dobby alone too long because he just gets too upset. Maybe they have a dog that he will be friends with to keep him company”.

Dobby is heart worm positive as a result of the hoarding case and we are treating him - Paw Paws Pet Rescue will continue to provide treatment until he is negative. Neuter can be done once our vet states he is able to undergo the anesthesia.

Mandatory home check is required along with a a pre-adoption application.
