My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walker (ARPH # 11176) is a 18 month old blue merle male who was pulled from a kill shelter in SC. He is a handsome guy, still very much a puppy mentally, despite his being almost 60 lbs. Walker is great with other dogs, no matter the size, as you can tell from the picture of him and his foster sisters. He is getting used to car rides and his foster mom is doing her best to teach him not to jump up on people when he meets them. His forever home must understand how young he really is and be committed to taking him through a basic obedience class and beyond. His energy level and size dictate he not be placed in a home with children under the age of 5-6. Walker is also learning leash manners as well as basic commands

Walker has been neutered, and all his vet work in current. He is also housebroken and crate trained. Walker is being fostered in Columbia, SC. ARPH approved adopters may contact robinmccann@bellsouth.net for more information about Walker.
