My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carol, along with her daughter and two sons, was dumped in rural Hallettsville, Texas on a night where temperatures were expected to be below freezing. Luckily for them, a concerned citizen alerted our rescue and we picked them all up before they were hit by cars or it got too cold. Carol is estimated to be about 2 1/2 years old and currently weighs 15 pounds. She is believed to be a maltipoo (miniature poodle/maltese mix). They were all very matted when they came into rescue so they had to be shaved down. They were also loaded with intestinal worms. After spending several days at our vet, they are feeling better and are in their foster home. Carol has been fully vetted, spayed and is now ready to find a forever home where she will never be dumped along the side of a road on a freezing day ever again. She will be gorgeous once her beautiful white hair grows back! **This dog is currently in her foster home in Houston,Texas.
