2.5 year old Chela is a sweet and sensitive girl. Initially she can be shy and timid with new people. If she's particularly upset in a new environment, she will growl to advise of her discomfort. But once she comes out of her shell, Chela is an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion! She adores cuddling and loves to be close to her humans.
Chela loves to spend time outdoors! She’s a big fan of, playing fetch, walking, running, hiking, and dog parks. These jaunts and bits of exercise calm her and she typically takes a relaxing nap in the sun to recharge afterwards. Exercise for her is mandatory. Couch potatoes need not apply!
Chela loves her people and is very eager to please! She’s a fast learner and she loves to make her humans happy. She is house broken and obeys commands, and is very trainable if you spend the time with her.
Chela being anxious, would do best in a quiet neighbourhood. She much prefers the quiet life as noisy busy areas could easily stress her. Her ideal home would have a yard for her to run in or a big park close by. She is fine with small children. She plays really well with other dogs.
She is a timid girl and takes a while to come out of her shell but once she does it is so worth it! She is so incredibly affectionate and playful with those she loves and trusts. Chela's furever family will need to be patient and willing to work with her anxiety. There is a set training method that Chela follows to help her calm. With a lot of love and patience, this girl has and will continue to flourish!

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
