Meet Pixie, a very fortunate and very special girl! Pixie is about six months old and came to us as an urgent medical case from animal control. She was found badly injured in a cornfield; due to the extent of the damage, Pixie lost her front leg and her tail. It's a sad story, but Pixie really doesn't need pity. She has adapted very well and her foster mom reports that she jumps on and off the furniture just like all the other cats. Pixie is a little bit shy at first, but it doesn't take long to win her affection. Hint: She likes to have her chin and back scratched. Pixie is curious, enjoys playing with her toys, and really loves the company of other cats. She hasn't been around dogs yet. All Pixie needs is a loving family of her own. If you'd like to put the finishing touches on her happily-ever-after, please let us know!
