My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chewie was surrendered by his owner when they could no longer care for him. He then went to a Lola's Lucky Day foster home in Houston. He is absolutely devoted to his human, willing and age to accompany you everywhere. He also loves to go for walks and car rides. He does okay with the children in his foster home, but not the cats!
He would love a forever family that is home more than away, and is able to not be kenneled when you are gone. Must love having a shadow and let him sleep with you. He is a homebody that is very respectful of boundaries- meaning he will wait for an invite onto the couch or the bed.

Approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.

Adoption fee is $350.
