My story

Hello there! My name is Kangaroo, aka 'Roo,' and I'm a sweet, affectionate black and white tuxedo Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix fella who was born in July 2018. I'm an independent and fun dude who loves to romp and play with my sisters. Yet I love laying in in my foster meowmy's lap and cuddling too. I'm inquisitive and like to snoop around everywhere. Foster meowmy says that I'm 'too good to be true!'
Are you surprised that a Maine Coon mix could be a black and white tuxedo? Watch the attached Animal Planet video, and you'll see that we come in all colors from white to black with tabby in between.
My sisters and I were born to a feral mama, but a Good Samaritan brought us to a shelter while we were young enough to be socialized completely. Fortunately our future Buster's Friends' foster meowmy spotted us and brought us home. After my hardscrabble beginnings, I'm grateful to have a warm, safe place to live now.
I get along with all 2-legged and 4-legged critters -- cats, dogs, and humans. So there are plenty of homes and households where I'd fit in like a glove. I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can crawl up in YOUR lap!
Kangaroo is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
