Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Cooper is a sweet, sweet, even tempered, laid back, marshmallow of a senior Beagle. She is 9 years old and very much overweight, probably twice the size she should actually be.
Her build is fairly petite but we are betting she probably weighs about 30 pounds or so and needs to lose a LOT!! Because of her excess burden of fat, she walks slowly and huffs and puffs her way around so she truly needs a new owner dedicated to regular walks and portion control of her food so she can recover her figure and the spring in her step. Absolutely no free feeding for this gal in her new home. Her appetite is WAY too good.
Darling Miss Cooper loves to meet new people (may give a little Beagle howl of happiness for a moment) and is super easy going around new dogs.
Her tail does that adorable rapid and nearly constant wag of a happy Beagle.
She was owner surrendered to us when her owner found she did not have time for a dog.
She is good with all people, including kids, and also good with dogs. Being with her people is her top priority in life.
She is already housetrained and can use a doggie door if you like.
She sits for treats (though does not need many!) and walks nicely on the leash.
Of course, she loves to sniff, sniff, sniff, typical Beagle.
Cooper is an affectionate lady and does enjoy snuggles and being petted. She has wonderful long and soft ears, so much fun to stroke.
She seems pretty quiet until she has something to communicate or announce (new people, nice treat, time to go for a walk, etc.) and then she will whoo whoo whoo in typical Beagle fashion for just a little bit.
She is an easy companion pup who should fit well in most any household. Just keep in mind that she is a stroller, not a hiker, so modest neighborhood walks to meet and greet people and dogs will be just fine with her.
While she is so overweight, Cooper really cannot go up and down stairs so her new home will need to be one story, please (or enough of your living area and bedrooms downstairs so that she does not need to go upstairs to be with you).
Sweet Cooper is feeling a bit confused and sad about losing her beloved home so we are hoping she will be adopted by a nice family ASAP!
