Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Happy Buster is a total baby doll of a Beagle! This 5 year old 35 pound happy love bug (needs to lose about 10 pounds) seems to be a purebred and he represents everything great about Beagles.
Buster LOVES people and, typical Beagle, is also good with other dogs.
He is very easy going and has a lovely, mellow attitude towards just about everything. He has no idea what the word hyper means; that is just not part of his world. He rarely even barks and is a quiet Beagle, how about that!?
Busters favorite activity is being wrapped in your embrace for a whole hearted snuggle session. He loves to be touched and to touch you. He easily gives happy, gentle kisses and loves making lots of eye contact with loved ones (which is everyone). He adores laps.
We are betting he will be a pro at helping you watch movies on the sofa or keeping you close company in the big bed at night. He will also be the type of faithful pup who will want to curl up by (or sit on) your feet while you are working on the computer.
Buster certainly must have been in a loving home at one time. He holds still sweetly while you put on the collar and leash and he is happy to go on walks and explore. He is a bit of a homebody, contented with a stroll in the neighborhood, if you do not have time for long walks.
Of course, Buster does need to lose some weight and will benefit from more exercise!
Buster is house-trained. Of course, he will need to acclimate to his new home and schedule since everything will be new to him. Once he knows his new routine and what you expect of him, he should be fine since he truly would never want to make you unhappy with him. He is best on a potty schedule since he does not demand to go out.
This affectionate, snuggly pup should fit in well in most homes. He is fine with well mannered kids since he does not mind any kind of nice touching, does not mind if you play with his ears or paws, and is so sweet and gentle natured.
Since all Buster wants is to share love and affection, he will do best in a home in which he can get all the attention that he deserves. He should be fine as an only dog, as long as he gets lots of people time, or he would be a good companion to another dog. He enjoys playing with toys.
Typical Beagle, Buster does delight in chasing squirrels and other critters and will take off after tempting furry little things. He will do best having a fenced yard so that he can run freely. He does need a secure collar and an owner who will train him not to chase critters when he is walking on the leash. NO flexi leashes, please!
