Hi, I'm Bear! I'm a 56 pound boy that can't wait for my forever home. I was found as a stray wandering around Nashville and taken to Animal Control. When they found me, I had on a service vest. I overhead the humans talking, and they don't think I'm actually a service dog, but let me tell you a little secret... I could be. But sadly my owner never came to claim me. I am approximately five years old, so I've still got energy, but I've also sowed my wild oats. I am amazing on a leash, and I am very attentive to humans. I'm always making sure they are okay! I'm good with dogs and people. I'm okay with cats. I haven't been kid-tested, but I'm a pretty good dog, so I would probably like kids. I don't bark a lot. My foster allows me to have the run of her house all day, and I always behave myself. I'm house-trained. After hours of romping with the other dog in the house, I enjoy crossing my paws and watching television (I'm a great wrestler). I also really, really love going for walks! I have one bad habit- I like to jump on people to give hugs. The good news is that I'm smart, so we can probably negotiate and work on some things, and I could be convinced to stop. I'm so smart that I learned my name in just a week. I'm looking for a place to spend the rest of my days, so let me know if you might have the right home! Oh, and I'm fully vetted!
