Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spot is new to our shelter here at St. Thomas City Animal Services.
Spot came into us when she was found in someone’s garage. The finder was not sure what to do with poor spot so he decided to help her out and brought her in to us. Spot has a microchip and we have done everything to try and find her home but to no avail. Now after being with us for a while we have decided that she needs to find a new home, so Spot is up for adoption.
Spot is very sweet and loving. The first few days here she was not a happy camper and hid in her little tent. We spent a lot of time petting Spot and trying to comfort her. All of our love was not missed, now Spot doesn’t hide from us anymore and is extremely excited to get the pets she so much enjoys. Spot is just getting use to going in our play room, the big window still worries her a bit, but she will sit on our lap and enjoy the petting. She is very easy to care for, she loves her kibble and is super clean in her kennel. Spot also enjoys a good treat. She has not played a lot with us but does kick around the ball on her own in her kennel. She also has an amazing purr that she does when she is getting scratched under the chin! Spot is around 6 years old, she is spayed and front declawed. She is not a big fan of dogs, so she would probably do better in a home with no dogs.
We think Spot would make someone a great low key friend, affectionate little friend! If you have any questions about Spot please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help.
