Hi there my name is KAI-I am a Heeler/Collie/Beagle mix about 32 lbs, I am about 6 months old and came into A Tail of 4 Paws with my 2 other siblings. I love love love to play with my siblings and to get attention from my human people. I will also take my leash and walk myself at times. I am crate trained, almost house trained, and am learning new things daily like sit, wait, my foster mom tells me I am such a smart pup.

"Kai" Navajo for Under the Willow Tree, she was found in a den, her mom built her deep underground protected by tree roots. Her mothers body layed feet away. She layed by her mom trying to wake her up, trying to nurse, then would go under the tree scared.... back and fourth weeping. She is the most sensitive, the most understanding, the one to calm and ease her siblings fears, the one to comfort every person she sees. She will be the first to dry your eyes and clown around until you smile. She was the first rescued from the den, weeping, beneath the willows
